There will be times
Friends will let you down
When you need a friend
No one can be found
Going round in circles
Is where I’ve been
Til I found you, Jesus
See, I’ve found a friend in Him

Since I’ve met You, Jesus
...
Love has found its way, in my heart y’all
I don’t have to search, no, no, no, not any longer
Not for another day
When I am lonely and in despair
I just say a little prayer to You, Jesus
Knowing You are there

Chorus
Now, after searching my whole life through
I’ve never found a better friend than You
Now, after searching my whole life through
I’ve never found no one who loves me like You do

Charmaine repeats her verse and chorus and turns the church out! The ushers have to run around and calm down the shouters. There is a shortage of ushers, so there has to be volunteers from the congregation. There are so many shouters and holy-filled members that Charmaine has to wait before singing her next song selection. Between the preacher’s sermon and Charmaine’s song, something has gotten to me too. I’m a sinner sitting here looking stupid. I really don’t know what’s going on inside of me, but something has jumped on me. I guess whatever’s got me has gotten to the lady who is shouting so much that her Sunday hat has flown off and across the church, along with her wig. The force and combination of her hat and wig has knocked off a man’s glasses on his face; now his glasses are broken. I guess I have the same thing as the guy running up the church aisle and back to the entrance door and back to the pulpit again. The ushers stops chasing him and just let him run.
